I had the hardest time figuring out how I was going to get a good photo of an entire tree, roots and all, until I came across this lovely bonsai ficus! It shows in miniature everything we see in the grandest of ancient oaks. Scan through this book and discover each of the key parts of its external anatomy. The photos include the featured part in full-color while the rest of the image fades into muted shades of gray. For the first time, it is really clear what we want them to focus on!
