This a great collection of longer phonetic words to add challenge and interest for the young reader. Introduce Packet 2A after the child has had success with Level 1 packets. Then, swap that out for Packet 2B in a week or so. Continue to swap out the old and bring in the new at a pace that allows the child to repeat but keeps the work alive. When the child has confidence reading Level 2 words, move on to Level 3: Phonograms.
