Phonetic Level 4E: Compound Words
Why do the kids get such a kick out of compound words? Because they are in the sensitive period for language! Give them what they need with compound words that follow the rules! Packet 4E takes them to afternoon tea in the park with 6 different compound words (like sunflower and pinecone). All text is printed in black to add just enough challenge beyond Level 3 phonogram work.
- 3-part format includes photos, labels, and control cards (word and label put together); 18 cards total
- Six images of objects the child most likely knows (no new vocabulary means no reading roadblocks)
- Rounded corners (no pricked fingers or dog-eared cards)
- Comes in a sturdy, clear reclosable bag for storage
- Lesson plan included
