While we teach that oo makes the sound in book when we use the green sandpaper letters, oo also commonly makes the sound in moon. This packet helps the children see just that. Use this later alongside the oo (book) packets when the children want to practice spelling words themselves. Level 3 Packet oo (moon) contains six different phonetic nouns with the oo phonogram (like moon and pool). The phonogram is printed in red (to isolate the new concept) while all other text is black.
