Imperfect Cork One-Pocket Pouches

These are just like our first quality pouches but have a slight sewing defect. For example, the seams may be slightly askew. Other than that, these are perfect and completely usable.

Cork pouches are a wonderful way to display your Maitri Learning cards or a myriad other goodies. And don't worry if they get dirty, you can easily wipe these clean.

About Cork Fabric

When we discovered cork fabric, we knew we had to make it available for children. Cork fabric is:

• Luxurious to the touch
• Ecologically-sound
  
• Very soft yet strong and durable

• Washable

We use cork for our aprons and mats and our phonogram folders. But when we make those, we have just the right amount of fabric left-over to make these pouches! So, there is almost no waste in our cork manufacturing process. YES!

Fabric Care

We have tossed all of our cork pouches and aprons in the wash to see how they hold up. None were the worse for wear! Before washing, we even soaked the cork in water, smeared it with lotion, let it soak up oil, and covered it in soap. None of these tests resulted in any discoloration; we were joyfully astonished! Even though we had no wear in our washing machine test, with repeated washing machine use we expect the edges to fray, the twill tape to shrink, and the elastic to age. So, we recommend hand wiping/washing and hanging to dry.
