Phonics Activities: Remember playing charades? Well now your youngest readers can engage in that classic game while flexing their reading skills. Phonetic Activity Cards are just what they sound like: cards that each contain one action verb whose spelling follows predictable phonetic rules. These are a perfect next step to introduce after children have experience with our Phonetic 3-Part Cards and Phonetic Word Cards.  

Have fun modeling how to read a card, act it out, and guess which action you are doing. This is a fantastic way to get your social butterflies purposefully engaged in meaningful work.

Our set contains 40 cards, each with one phonetically-spelled action word written in red (the same color-coding used in the grammar materials for verbs).
