phonetic level 3 group 1
These packets match the phonograms presented in the green sandpaper letters. Introduce these after the child has success reading Level 1 and 2 words independently. Then, start with any packet. Swap packets every week or so making sure the children have enough time to repeat but while keeping the magic and excitement of the room alive. I used to love to greet my children in the morning and say, "there's something new in the phonogram reading basket." I loved the look of wonder and interest in their eyes. They would race over to the basket after hanging up their coats and dive right in!
