Parts of the Leaf: Axillary Bud Correction

Well, it happened. Even though we worked with a botanical expert and several amazing Montessorians when we made our "Parts of" the Leaf materials, there is an error in those materials. Fortunately, a Montessorian from Tennessee found the error and let us know about it this morning. Thank you!

So what was the error? Our "Parts of" the Leaf Cards, Books, and Definition Cards incorrectly use the term "auxiliary bud" instead of the accurate term "axillary bud." We are updating our materials in house. If you have purchased these materials from us or Montessori Services, you should be receiving replacement cards in the coming weeks.

However, some of you may have these cards and we won't know where to find you (because you bought the cards at a conference, for example). So, if you don't get replacement materials in the coming weeks, let us know and we'll send them out to you.

I'm so sorry for the error but I am grateful that it was ultimately found and that we can fix it. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and ongoing support.
