Parts of the Sea Star Book
This book features a species of sea star known as the Caribbean starfish. It is the perfect critter to study. You can actually see it's brightly colored tubed feet that propel it through the water and its tiny tentacles at the end of each arm. Scan through the book and discover each of the key parts of its external anatomy. The photos include the featured part in full-color while the rest of the image fades into muted shades of gray. For the first time, it is really clear what we want them to focus on!
